We are pleased to announce that Troutman Sanders partners Ashley Taylor and David Anthony will be featured speakers at the upcoming Credit and Collections News (CCN) Annual Conference.  The conference will be held March 30 through April 1 at the Ritz-Carlton in Amelia Island, Florida.

Ashley will speak on a panel entitled “Working with Your Attorney General” on Thursday, March 31 from 4:00-5:00 p.m.  Ashley will be joined by Karl Racine, Attorney General of the District of Columbia.  They will discuss best practices for handling matters involving state attorneys general in an increasingly rigorous enforcement landscape.

David will speak on a panel entitled “An In-Depth Look at the FCC and TCPA” on Friday, April 1 from 10:00-11:30 a.m.  The panel will address recent implications of the FCC’s Declaratory Ruling and Order issued in July 2015, litigation challenging the Declaratory Ruling, and practical tips when navigating the highly-technical TCPA in litigation.

The eleventh annual conference features a luncheon keynote address by Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes and numerous panels related to emerging issues in the debt collection industry.  There will also be several opportunities for networking with fellow industry professionals throughout the duration of the conference.  Troutman Sanders is proud to sponsor this event.
