By this time next year, the CFPB’s new TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosures rule will be in effect.  Is your company prepared to comply with the new rule?

On Tuesday, November 18, the CFPB and the Federal Reserve will host an hour-long webinar beginning at 2:00PM EST to address frequently asked questions on how to complete the new Closing Disclosure form, rule interpretation, and potential obstacles with implementation.

The new rule consolidates existing mortgage disclosures required under TILA and RESPA into two integrated forms designed to make it easier for consumers to understand and locate key information, and also integrates the substantive and procedural requirements for providing these disclosures to consumers.

This will be the fourth in a series of webinars sponsored by the CFPB and the Federal Reserve to discuss the new rule as creditors, mortgage brokers, settlement agents, software developers, and other stakeholders work to implement the new TILA and RESPA Integrated Disclosure rule over the next 12 months.

You can register for the webinar at https://www.webcaster4.com/Webcast/Page/48/6299.
