Mary Zinsner, a partner in Troutman Pepper’s Washington, D.C. office who handles high stakes litigation matters for banks in state and federal courts nationwide, has been accepted into the American Arbitration Association’s Roster of Arbitrators. AAA arbitrators are viewed as leaders in the practice of alternative dispute resolution (ADR).

Zinsner has handled every type of litigation impacting financial institutions, including lender liability, Uniform Commercial Code, bank operations, consumer finance, fiduciary matters, and state consumer protection statutes. Her experience includes representing banks in class actions, data breach multi-district litigation, and privacy matters. In addition, she has extensive experience as a commercial litigator handling real property, intellectual property, and trade secret disputes.

Committed to cultivating professionalism and education on the rule of law, Zinsner serves on the Board of Directors of the Virginia Law Foundation. She is a former member of the Board of Governors of the Virginia Bar Association, a permanent member of the Judicial Conference of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and a Master in the Pauline Newman Inn of Court.

To be named to the AAA’s Roster of Arbitrators, attorneys must demonstrate knowledge, prowess, mastery, and proficiency in a particular field. AAA arbitrators also are required to take ongoing education in the art and science of arbitration.
