Tim St. George, a partner in Troutman Sanders’ Consumer Financial Services practice, has been nominated as one of twenty-two of Virginia Lawyers Media’s Up & Coming Lawyers for 2018.  The “Up & Coming Lawyers” awards program, now in its third year, recognizes lawyers across the commonwealth who are making their mark within their first 10 years of practice. According to Virginia Lawyer’s Weekly, “[t]hese are the lawyers who are the leaders of the profession in the future.”  In presenting the award, Virginia Lawyer’s Weekly noted Tim’s national defense practice in the consumer financial services space, as well as his status as a thought leader on issues relating to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, class actions, and consumer protection.  Tim was previously named in 2018 to Benchmark Litigation’s “40 and Under Hot List,” as well as one of five attorneys nationwide recognized as a “Rising Star” by Law360 this past year in the area of “Consumer Protection.”
