We are pleased to announce that Troutman Sanders Partners Ronald Raether and Ashley Taylor, Jr. will be featured speakers at this upcoming industry-leading conference.
Mr. Raether will be a speaker on a panel titled “Cyber Security Preparedness: Data Breach Incident Response Teams and Refurbishing Your Governance Programs.” The panelists will discuss the building blocks for a sound information governance program which includes technical, administrative, and physical controls. The elements of a good plan will be discussed, including penetrations testing and security assessments, incident preparedness, formation of a cyber defense response team, and post-incident recovery and root cause analysis, among other topics.
Mr. Taylor will moderate a panel titled “Adapting to Changing Regulatory, Legislative & Enforcement Activities and Breach Notification Requirements.” The panelists will provide analysis from federal and state perspectives, including an update on federal agencies, legislation, and White House initiatives, as well as enforcement trends relating to actions by state attorneys general and recent state regulatory and enforcement trends, among other topics.
